Zhongjian Yuelu·Guan Di, is located on the north side of the Chaobai River National Wetland Park in Baodi District, Tianjin. The area is rich in natural surroundings and transportation resources. Drawing on the aesthetic concepts of the East and adhering to modernist crafts-manship, this project presents a model residence of "national style with the charm of the Song Dynasty and elegant etiquette" in Baodi District. The project is designed with a progressive courtyard layout along the central axis of the community, creating a sequence of spac-es: the first is the arrival forecourt; the second is the landscape water courtyard; and the third is the landscape clubhouse. This lay-ered and rhythmic arrangement forms a spatial courtyard with a strong sense of ceremony. The overall architectural form is inspired by the Chaobai River and flying birds, translating natural forms into ab-stract expressions. Meanwhile, the facade elements inherit the classic aesthetics of the East and are reinterpreted with modern craftsman-ship, capturing the essence of a literati lifestyle. The design is luxurious yet restrained, presenting a vivid and lively scene. |
